I am a dual-department faculty member in Computer Science & Engineering and Fine Art. I teach creative courses with an emphasis on digital processes, physical products, and a philosophical approach to making. Through a holistic view of education considerate of mind, body, and spirit, I help students identify and strengthen their creative voices. I educate students for competence, confidence, and agency on their journey.

My own educational experience includes earning a BFA in Printmaking from Southeast Missouri State University, an MA in Studio Art from Eastern Illinois University, and an MFA in Sculpture and Expanded Media from Illinois State University.

My current areas of interest and research include: leadership/mentorship, portraiture, landscape photography, broadcasting, weight training, jiu jitsu, and eastern philosophy,
